Hello I'm using AdSense Deluxe 0.8 to blend in Ads on my blog. It works well in posts, and it is quite easy to include with the <!--adsense--> tag. Now I have created a special <!--adsense#Sidebar--> Ads for the sidebar, which is 160x600 and I tried to include it in my sidebar.php. But the Ads just don't show up and I tried a lots of different variants of how the name could look like: <!--adsense#Sidebar--> Sidebar adsense#Sidebar etc. My site's name is: http://blog.tuningforums.net Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks, dk
Are you sure you've got the naming convention right? A quick look at the source code seems likes it's looking for <!--adsense#sidebar.--> You obviously won't get any served on the front page anyway as you've got 3 regular ads in the main copy.
I checked it with: Sidebar, #Sidebar, Adsense#Sidebar, and the one which is in the code at the moment. None of these work. I don't really get the AdSense limitation- Darren has 4 ads block on that page for example: http://www.problogger.net/archives/2007/03/10/alexa-selling-t-shirts-with-your-domain-name-on-them/ How should I include AdSense in blog post's if there are just 3 blocks allowed all in all? Thanks for your help.
He has 3 ad blocks and a link unit in addition to a referral block. That's OK as far as AdSense goes. Basically if you try to put more than 3 standard ad blocks on the page, it will disregard one of them.
Thank you! It's nice to see you like it. The blog is still just five days old, so basically I'm writing content at the moment. But let's see how it will develop.
Yup, your tip was very helpful. Thank you! It was because I already had 3 ad blocks. I deleted them and now it works perfectly!
