I don't see anything anywhere at all telling me what I could possibly be doing incorrectly, but a user purchased an ad on my site through DP ads. Nothing shows up yet.

See below for a potential reason for a bug. As for the payment:

I received a paypal payment and then I received an email from the person with the following text, with identifying info deleted.

Potential bug: My authentication key currently starts with cf7cfb, but the file and content it tells me to create starts with cb14bd.

Actually, I see what's going on... we did receive notice of the payment, but your PayPal address doesn't match the one on your site setup in Digital Point Ads, so it thought something weird was going on. The notice we received was notifying us of a payment to , but your PayPal email on your Digital Point Ads setup is . Is overvolt the primary email on the PayPal account or something?

The payment wasn't to overvolt.com, it was from overvolt.com. The payment was to addressmunger.com.

Oops yeah, that's what I meant... was to the gmail address... is the gmail address the primary email on the PayPal account?

The 0********e@gmail.com is the primary (set up when I was in college) but I added the *******@addressmunger.com when I made the website. That could be the reason.

Yep... you would need to make sure the primary email on the PayPal account matches the one you have when you set up your site in Digital Point Ads... which is why it says this:
I've manually taken care of the transaction in question, but going forward, you should make sure the PayPal address for the site matches the primary one on the account.

Aah, OK, I've now manually changed my email address to the primary.

Is there no way to switch to the secondary email address? I'd strongly prefer that one for privacy purposes.

We are working on switching the PayPal stuff to one of their different APIs, which should take care of the issue... but for now, unfortunately there isn't. PayPal doesn't let you change the primary email?

Sure, but it's the other way around with paypal. I don't like using my personal email in online website-related transactions.

I changed my primary email address in DP ads but I still don't see ads. Is there a chance that you taking care of the transaction followed by me changing my email address disabled the ad again?

Do you see the payment listed in your Payments page? Could simply be the person paying hasn't submitted (or activated) their ad.
