Ads on HTML page (www.whplanet.com)

Hi,

I want to put ads on www.whplanet.com and almost all pages are HTML, I tried putting the code into homepage for testing, but it didnt work.

any help will be appreciated.

Which ads are you talking about !! Adsense, I can see it at exteme left and bottom !!

 

Do your server support PHP?
If your server support PHP then you can do it by modifying the .htaccess

I am talking abt the Coop ad network of digital point and I tried all things mentioned on the setup instructions given on the digitalpoint website. (I cant include link to the setup page as i m new here and dont have 10 posts
Still no luck.. They havent mentioned any thing abt the HTML pages on that page.

Also when I open the advt file located at whplanet.com/ad_network_286.php it shows nothing.

it's easy! i've got it working.

copy and paste the line below this paragraph in to your .htaccess file in the root folder "/".if you don't have one then create it.

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html

That should parse your html documents as php. then you just add the coop ad network code in.

 

I have added that line to .htaccess already as it was mentioned on the Setup Instructions.

I have also included the file <!--#include virtual="/ad_network_286.php" --> into the code of index page..

Not working for me.. plz suggest other ways..

Also can anyone tell me if these ads really help in increasing traffic to the website and can I see these ads working somewhere?
