What do you think of Ads on an online Ecommerce store. I have over 1500 visits a day with not as many sales as I should, I was thinking maybe PPC on their might help me out a bit.

Why would you have ads, potentially going to competitors, when you are trying to sell your own stuff? You want visitors to buy from you and stay on your site as long as possible. Do you see McDonalds for example with ads in their restaurants advertising Burger King and Wendys? I see this often online and it doesn't make sense. Just for a few cents of revenue from those clicking when a sale will make you much more?

If you are not making as many sales as you think you should, maybe the problem is with your sales message. Fix that. Having ads will only make things worse: more will leave without buying.

How many sales out of those visits do you get? You may in fact be doing fine.

A lot of people would be very happy with 3%, depends on what your selling too of course and how they are finding you. Would that be on your motorcycle parts link? If so, I think you're doing fairly well. There's always room for improvement of course.
