Ads not showing

    Hello,

I am a first-time user of AdWords. I have one campaign with three ad groups. My ads were initially disapproved because the display and referral URLs weren't the same, but I fixed that. All key words read "active," and my payment information is up to date, but my ads are not showing anywhere and I am getting no impressions. It has been two days since the ads have been active.

Can anyone give me any advice? Thanks for any help.

What is your quality score (move your mouse over the button next to your keywords).

It's getting harder and harder to start new campaigns with Google these days. I'm guessing you quality scores for keywords are very low. What I have been having to do is bump up my bids and daily budget so you can get some exposure. Google wants to make sure you are legit and unfortunately you are going to have to pay for it.

Pay the price for about a week and then you can lower your bids when you quality score goes up.

    Most of them are 8/10.
But the keywords aren't popular ones. We should definitely be on the first page if we're showing up at all - but should we still need to pay more to be seen even in that case?

What do you mean by 'the keywords aren't popular'? The issue might simply be that nobody is searching for them.
