Hmm....I've used Adwords a handful of times over the last 3 years including last in June. Never been profitably but not willing to let it go yet. So I started a new campaign with multiple adgroups. My daily budget and Max CPC are higher than necessary. This is not forex I am bidding on, so all keywords are active for search. Targetted USA amongst other countries. And yet, 6 hours later I have no impressions....The only thing I can think of is that the site I am promoting has never been seen in Adwords before, because it's my own new product site. Does Google need to manually review each and every new site perhaps? I have emailed Adwords Support but still wondering why I have been held up like this because I am certainly not a new customer and I am not bidding on any pharm or dodgy keywords..... I ran the tool and also did a manual search - confirms that my ads are not showing. Any ideas?
Maybe your competition is just biding more than you so your ads are not on the first page, normally if you have big competition. You can also check that in your adwords campaigns, just drive the mouse over the magnifier that is just next to your keywords in your campaign and google will tell you why are not they showing your ads.
This can't be it because for some keywords I have only 3 competitors. I am well above the minimum CPC and my quality score is good. I even copied the campaign but still no good. Extremely strange. Min CPC is 20c for most of my keywords and I'm bidding 80c. Extremely strange....
yeah I have thanks. It's throwing up errors. for instance, the ads diagnostic tool says my ads aren't showing because the ad group is paused. But it's definitely not paused, both the campaign and all the ad groups inside it say "active". max cpc < budget. YES campaign has ended. NO - set to no end date campaign/ad group paused/deleted NO - set to active missing c.c. info NO - card showing as valid and they took money from me the other day, 3 pence! keyword inactive for search NO - all keywords active and max CPC above min CPC daily budget? OK - set to $200 god help me!
Do they have a phone no? I thought that was always the bugbear with Google. Their Adwords support is terrible, especially considering how much money they make. All they provide is a slow outsourced email service. Never even seen the live chat.
I had this problem too. It's because my account is under review(my account not active for some time). I emailed google, and my account passed review. Then my ads displayed.
thanks bryanw, hopefully I will hear from their terrible support soon. 24 hours and no response yet. Only last used Adwords lat month.
