Hi...here is what happened. Please Help! I set up a new blog. After I posted the private policy page, I added the adsense code. I then put one post. Both the private policy and post page have relevant Adsense code....but unfortunately my Homepage code is not relevant at all! It looks like the adsense ads are for the private policy page....even on my homepage! My site is about 48 hours old...please help. Have a look at what I mean...here is my blog: bronxmotels.net Does anyone have the email address for Adsense...I might need to contact them.
Was you homepage indexed already? Because at times when the homepage is so cluttered with different keywords and topics and is not centered on a particular keyword, it will show funny ads plus if its not indexed, it will show some or even public ads... Hope this helps JulieV
Bold your main keywords, put them between your titles <H1> <H2> ect.. plus you need to wait a little bit longer.
it happened to me too.... i dont know why google displays ads (and i earn pretty good!) on all subpages but not on home page. my page is at domain.com/index.php - ads are not displayed but if i do a simple trick, ads get displayed... try this: yourdomain.com/index.php?title=poker+online or make up anything to follow title= and you will see if ads will appear. i will probably do simple redirection if someone lands on index.php to redirect it to index.php?Title=<random keyword>
it is usual with new blogs/sites. if you still dont see relevant ads on the homepage after couple of days, then you can use adsense section targeting (just google) which will solve th eissue
Hi, thanks for everyone's reply. The ads are showing correctly and relevant on new posts...its just my homepage, is showing very irrelevant ads. My site is about 48 hours old now. My first post was the Private Policy, then I added the Google Adsense code....my next post was my post about Bronx Motels...now for this post, on its own separate page the Adsense code is relavant...but on the homepage its irrelevant. Of all my years with Adsense, I have never had this problem....all posts show relevant ads...except the homepage ??? check out my blog and you will see what I mean...its bronxmotels.net Does anyone have an email address for google adsense support?
I only see one page and maybe their aren't any advertisers advertising a relevant website. Not sure how many bronze motel owners use adwords =P
sultanofseo, what you said isnt true. my site is over 2 years old and ads dont show up on home page only. if you email google they never reply back... they dont care unless you are a huge publisher.
It happened to me before.. my homepage showed very irrelevant ads... After I added more content to the homepage and increase the number of words per post excerpt, the ads started to become more relevant.
I also faced this problem but that was due to the irralevent post made by me so when i make some more ralevent posts then that problem was solved
