Hey guys, quick question - On my blog, the AdSense ads on the front page are not related to the content. On the inside pages, etc. the ads are related to the content. Does anybody have an idea of why this would happen on the front page only? Thanks in advance.
If you have just put the AdSense on your site, it may take a while to target the ads right. Try waiting a bit and seeing if the ads become better. I'm actually having the same problem, but my blocks have been serving irrelevant ads for about 3 days now.
Did you recently add Adsense to your blog? It may take up to 48 hours to get completely relevant ads.
I did just add the code. That being said, it seems to be showing relavant ads on the inside pages, etc. Hopefully things will change in the next few hours. Any other reason on why this may happen? Any help would be appreciated.
Can you give an example of what ads do you expect and what ads are shown by google. Can it be that you front page doesn't have enough keywords for google to decide...
andyba - that is possible! I am just confused because every other page, outside of the home page, is showing relative ads!
Is your blog's front page showing excerpts from lots of different posts? Sometimes you get unrelated ads when there are a variety of subjects listed on that first page.
Driver - it is just one post for now : http://www.bloodinpee.com/. Just a silly niche site Ive been working on. The pages work just fine with relevant ads, but not the "home page." Any guess? Should I just wait?
