Ads not coming up at all despite active account with key phrases!

We've had campaigns going for a while and we get 0 impressions from search. We are paying more than what the Google Keyword Tool recommends for a particular key phrase so we should be coming up in first yet we don't even come up last! Our ad isn't there.

For example, a key phrase of "red cardboard box" in an ad for "boxes" with broad, exact, and phrase match versions is NEVER seen on search, yet it is searched daily. If we type in "red cardboard box" into google our ad does not come up at all. The ad is active, we're not suspended, and it does show up in the content network. Line after line of key phrases get no impressions.

We can understand not paying enough and coming in 50th place on the last page, but not coming up at all?

    Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

when did you create all that? because it takes time for google to approve you for release to public, its doesn't work on the fly...

It's been up for over a month and everything is approved. It doesn't make any sense why it doesn't show up at all.

Have you checked everything in the link I posted above?

If so, all you can do now is work it out with adwords support.

And you've verified in Campaign Settings that you're checkmarked for Google Search as well as for Content Network?

(Or, more accurately, you should uncheck Content Network and check Search, but that's another topic entirely.)

Yes, everything should be showing. We're paying enough according to Google. It's active and not waiting approval. When we try to email Google's support, we never get an answer.

I think that if you pay enough, you should come up, period. Even at dead last, but still come up. Sometimes we don't. Being in 100th place sucks but at least the ad is there. When it doesn't show up at all when it's supposed to be 1-3 then that is totally crap and frustrating.
