it's ok (i think!) - i have ads in my forum, and i cant recall anything in the TOS that would even hint that forums are a problem.

If i was you though, i would change your ad to a text-only - like Hav0c said, that banner looks kinda awkward there..

The text above that banner can create problems for you. You don't have so many members there in your forum, nor are there any posts. Concentrate on getting these first, that in-your-face banner will scare them away.

It's so hard getting from a forum using adsense...Those who earns are mostly big forums with thousand of page impressions per day...you won't get much from the ads cos the site is too young...try getting traffic first and introduce the ad...anyway your placement will really attract clicks;) and I don't think it's againts the TOS

I think your ad violates Google TOS. Is the banner the heading of your "tradding for begginers" topic or is an advertising? According to Google's policy, the ads must be clearly differenced from the page's content, and cannot be confused in any way with this.

This site, http://www.mygroovywedding.com, is an excelent example of Adsense and forums integration, and is, as I know, fully compilant with Google's policy. I will use as a model for my forums.

Indeed, it is dangerous to use it like that. Also, it isn't worth the risc.

Sorry but I completely disagree. Forums are an interesting space to place ads. It is true that they haden't a high "click-trhoug" but I don't see any danger in putting Adsense on them, so why not try to earn some extra money?

In fact, even Google have some guidelines to place ads on Forums.

This is from their official Adsense blog:

I've previously read that it is okay to put adsense on forums. Another way of monetizing is to search for some related affiliate products.

However, you will need more traffic to your site. Spend more time promoting it to your target audience.

I don't think it is a problem. However, when in doubt, ask Google.

I would blend your ad background more. Looks out of place right now.

Be careful how you label your ads. For instance, the fake post count can potentially get you in trouble, because you're trying to deceive your visitor into thinking that that is a forum and not an ad. I would get rid of the fake post.

I see you have changed the ad position. I think it's the same bad positioned or even worse than before.

I completely agree. I think is not worth continue discussing about this. I think this guy is not listening our advices:confused:

    ---- Ads -----

You CANNOT incite your users clicking on your ads nor deceit them making your Google Ads look like been the forum options.

I'm staring to think that your real objective is to get banned form Adsense.

In that case, congratulations. You're in the best way.
