ads in contention creation feel fake and spammy

I am starting to become very reluctant to part with any links to previous work or personal information because these ads are so spammy. They can use my links as their if they are writers using double id's!

One guy actually posted in one of my articles for sale he would take them then disappeared.
I checked my notifications, no response message ever came. Fake, fake, fake.

Even if it were good "today" he was ignoring my IM and erasing the personal messages left at his public profile.

These members are dishonest and should be flagged. "Thailand" has a big market for cabinetry and carpentry articles? ?

"I will take those articles if they are still available. " and he still keeps on posting to other people "I'll take those articles".

Why don't Digital Point admins weed out the scammers?

I think that there are not enough moderators. We as members need to start flagging threads that we know are scammers. All members must be moderators. I know of another forum that runs like that. It works for them.

Wow, I had no idea that this was going on...thanks for the heads up on that. Have you ever thought about having them pay you for a sample? Maybe a short fee or something or either delete the sample right after you send it?

You can give negative itrader if you're sure that he is a scammer. Sadly that's all you can do.

Proper usage of the iTrader system and discretion when dealing with members are the only way to avoid scammers.
