If you mean Google and Yahoo or similar altogether, yup it's TOS violation

I actually email google before about this, and they said it's okay if you get the permission first (which you definitely will as you need to get the publisher id). Here is their reply:

Thanks for your email. I understand that you would like to know if you can
display ads for different publishers on the same page.

If a website is in compliance with our program policies
(http://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) and the company or owner has
given you permission to display their ad code on your site, you may place
your ad code along with the other publisher's ad code on the same page.
You will, however, need to contact your web the other publisher to obtain
permission to display their ads on your website.

Please keep in mind that a maximum of three regular ad units and one link
unit may be placed on one web page. In addition, please be aware that
every publisher is responsible for the content of a website on which their
ad code is placed. If a website is found in violation of our program
policies, we will notify any publisher(s) whose ad code is on the website,
and ask you to remove the Google code from that page.

No. You can have both google and yahoo ads on the same website, however NOT on the same page. Hope this helps.

Oh wow. That really sucks. Does Google allows third-party ads on the same page even if its not Yahoo?

Google only allows non-contextual based advertising to be displayed together on the same page with adsense.

I dont know what they told you in that email, but if you have ads from more than one publisher on your page, the second set of ads will render differently than regular ads, and google treats all clicks from these ads as PSAs ... meaning you will not get paid for any clicks to ads that are displaying differently than the normal ads (usually larger font and light grey background with a 1px border between ads and around the ad unit ...)

I was just about to start a new thread because of this!

The reason is, I am creating a website with a friend of mine who has his own google adsense account. We wish to share profits, 50% into my account and 50% into his.

If I remember correctly, the guy who wrote the adsense is dead report, used to do this with all his partners. Am I correct?

Oops, I think that guy used to show either his account or the partners account on the pages, but not both on a page. Not sure if it makes any difference though!

The below lines are from the TOS of Google as it is.
    Refer https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...&sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link for more info

    Competitive Ads and Services
We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services. If you have elected to receive contextually-targeted Google ads, this would include all other contextually-targeted ads or links on the same page as Google ads. This would also include ads throughout the site that mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads do not mimic Google ads. If you have elected to receive Google search services, this would include other search services on the same site and non-Google query-targeted ads. We do allow affiliate or limited-text links.
