I dont know what causes this but my adsense ads sometimes dont show at all..The js code is in the page source but the ad itself is not. Not even pub ads. The place is just empty..It gets fixed when I replace the code but this doesnt make any sense, I cant check every page and see if they work or not??
I have that happen on one of my blogs all the time -- it is a political viewpoint blog that doesn't take advantage of any advertiser-friendly content. On the rare occasion that an ad does pop up, it is usually very well connected to the context. I wrote about marriage (gay, straight, polygamy) and the ads were pretty hilarious (and well clicked on surprisingly). If you don't have much content, you can expect blank spots. If the content seems "weird" or "off" to Google's bots, they won't even display PSAs. How old is your site?
well there is content it's no different than the other pages just one category below those.. its kinda old since 2000 or so..
Hmm. Add a link unit somewhere on the page and let me know what appears. My link unit will show NOTHING when it only shows on ad on one ad unit. It will say "Ads by google" and View ads about [ ] (GO) It means it can't find anything. It is doing it right now, heh. What does your link unit show?
They were showing nothing just the blank table itself..But I think It is because of old adsense code, the code has no channel or text/image add code in it {ad type and ad format lines}, so I just got a new code and it is now showing..
It happened for me too. I think sometimes when there are no adds availalble at the moment, may be u dont get anything. And, try link unit thing "dayasays" said. When no adds available it showed somethign atleast.
If your content or site is very specialized, Google may have no appropriate ads to display at that time. Typically, this would result in PSAs being displayed, but you may have your alternate color set to your page background color.
This also happens to my site in the past..at the same time to my friends' site also (we're in the same country). I wonder if google is doing some updating on targeting at that point of time..
