Hmmm, no smiley in that post so I don't know whether you intended that seriously or not. If it WAS a serious statement, no - it's not nearly long enough. Even two weeks isn't long enough to give you reliable data on income, although a couple of days is plenty long enough for me to decide that Yahoo needs a lot of work on its ad targeting.
wiki.digitalpoint.com/en ^^^^^ Anyway, I see adsense on pages like user control panel, edit post. new reply, thats why I dont have any pageviews from dp now.
If they are fairly close, then I agree that 2 days is not long enough. Some people have said that Yahoo earns twice as much as Adsense though and whether that's true or not would be clear after only 2 days.
No. There could be lots of extraneous reasons for Yahoo outperforming AdSense in the first two days, not the least of which is novelty or curiosity about the different syle or colors, or curiosity about the types of sites advertising on Yahoo for people not familiar with their ad network. I think you'd need at least a month before any clickthrough and income comparison data would be trustworthy.
Just noticed this and don't know if it has been spoken about before, but DP is using a combination of both Yahoo ads and Google ads. I also noticed that DP as implemented them even more so than before. (throughout the forums)
Don't Google & Yahoo have TOS rules against using both on the same site???... Seems someone told me that or I was just dreaming or something...
I was pretty sure someone had already made a post about it..... guess i was a bit lazy. thanks nintendo.... i wonder how much MORE he is making with Yahoo than he did with Google... I mean at least now he's getting 100% of click revenue + Yahoo at the beginning tends to pay a lot more than Google....
I can see now the ads are randomly showing either google or yahoo so it's safe. Must be earning some serious $ with both of these networks.
All I see are hummer adds and western union ads It's odd... Using Camino, only the coop appears in the spot where google/ypn has been, and its the same two ads. Odd..
AdSense/YPN ads are only displayed to browsers known to understand JavaScript (not enough users use Camino to bother putting it in the list).
That explains it.. I figured it has to be something simple I do love that browser though... It has been faster and more stable than anything I have used to date.
