is see some sites using yahoo ads are hiding "ads by yahoo" tag like in arcadeshack . com but is that a option in yahoo ads or is the owner tweaking the ads.But we cannoy hide ads by google no matter what colour pattern we select

This is a glitch with the Yahoo code. They have their default set to white so for many backgrounds it simply blends in. The website owner has done nothing wrong with this. Yahoo has said they will fix it eventually, but is not high on their priority list yet.

A month ago i received an email from YPN stating that I was “…obstructing ad text…” and it violated their TOS. After short email exchange it became clear they meant "Ads by Yahoo" was not visible. I pointed out that it was their bug and that there was little i can do aside from breaking my site's color scheme to make it visible. I didn’t want to play with fire. I ended up changing the ad border color by 1 point from the background and that made "Ads by Yahoo" visible. To my great relief they reviewed the site a week later and re-approved it.

thats a bit stupid: to suspend your account because of THEYR bug.

i guess that`s what they did if they "re-approved it"

It is against their TOS, your fault for not reading it. But yeah it is stupid and they need to fix it.

They didn’t suspend my account. They just made it clear that if I want to remain in the YPN program I must correct the problem.

Gotta love it when they tell you that when it is their system that is messing up.
