I have seen on other sites with skyscraper banner ads the "Ads by Google" logo on the bottom of the skyscraper, yet mine is at the top. The sites I have seen this on have a different style logo, which makes me think it is older code, and I have the latest type. Is this true? If so, I suppose there is no way to move it to the bottom?
I have seen this with large websites. When I looked at their code they have some sort of JavaScript code that parses the adsense code and display them in their desired format.
Google often does testing to see what work and what not. You can not make changes in the location appearance of logo
Adsense Premium publishers can change the "ads by google" logo anywhere they want or totally avoid them. Adsense says- "Website publishers with more than 20 million page views per month may be eligible for premium AdSense service, which includes dedicated account service. Selected website publishers enrolled for premium service include ABC.com, HowStuffWorks, Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc., Lycos Europe, Knight Ridder Digital, About.com, CNET and others. "
If you're a big time publisher/network then Google will change this to... Sponsored Links. For example, this is the case with Myspace.com.
i think premium publishers or whatever they are called, can have ads without the "ads by Google" link. Although I think only a few sites have this advantage. Adsense resellers like ask.com can also, I think.
I was seriously hopping one day I would get accepted into the premium account service. Currently I only get around 300 thousand page views per month!!! I guess i still have to wait a few years
