Ads blacklist looks like a pretty good site with some cool features will anyone be using it? Has anyone tried the beta? AdsBlackList.com is a unique project designed to enable you to dramatically reduce the amount of MFA (made for ads) and LCPC (low cost per click) sites which appear through the use of PPC systems such as Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network and Chitika eMiniMalls
i don't think they have 10.000 members but the website is from 2006! i think there is something good here!
Hi everyone. I'm Paul, Director @ Concept Business Systems and the owner of AdsBlackList.com. As you've raised this topic with DP, I thought it best to chime in and give you some more information. The latest version of AdsBlackList (v4) is due for launch on 15/07/2010. This version represents a huge leap forwards in ad filtering and gives a far more detailed overview of the quality of sites used in a variety of PPC networks. The single most significant change is the introduction of category-based filtering; which makes the decision of which advert/site to filter a whole lot easier. Don't worry though; you can still search by keyword too. We've taken steps to address many comments & criticisms; one of which was the lack of flexibility. To address this, we've added the following features... Search & Filter by: URL, Keywords, Geographic Location, Registered Address, Content Quality, Layout Quality & Ease of Navigation to name just a few. There are currently 36 criteria in total (limited by account), including key data such as hidden links, cookie-cutter design, PTC, advertises through spam, contains viruses, encourages clicks, site published for ads (MFA) and many more. It's good news for free users too; we've scrapped the 200 URL limit. All accounts now have access to every record in the database. We've dropped the term LCPC (low cost per click) too. In the current economic climate and with many advertisers being more proactive in monitoring their advertising budget, filtering by LCPC is no longer viable or sustainable. The focus should (always) be on content quality; not relative costs of each advert. We've also added discussion groups, a community/social area, video hints & tips from Adsense Top Contributors & Google staff; the list is endless. With regards to our members, we have 23,400+ currently registered and we're in the process of migrating them over to the new system. To celebrate the launch, we're offering a massive 50% off the registration fee for all packages. Simply enter the voucher code "50-GIVEAWAY" on the order screen. This is valid until the end of July 2010 and will not be extended. Packages start from just £2.50 p/m (or £25 p/a) for basic, £4.99 p/m (or £50 p/a) for Premier and £10 p/m (or £100 p/a) for the Premier+ plan (due Q4 2010). These plans have been carefully designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of users; beginners/small sites earning < $1 per day can make full use of a basic plan without placing a significant burden on revenue. Furthermore, we're working on a rescue package to assist users who have fallen for the countless "get rich quick" & "adsense ready site" schemes. We'll put you on the right track to build a sustainable web site; ensuring you adhere to the relevant terms and provide a wealth of knowledge for you to move forwards with your chosen PPC provider. We look forward to seeing you on the 15th July 2010.
Hey Paul sounds like you've put a ton of work into making your service even better, great work and I look forward to checking it out!!
