Ads are on site, but auto validation failed

I have ads on the site now and "100%" is on "My Pool Of Advertisements". But I get the message "Account not not yet activated. | Site failed automatic validation as of 2005-02-07 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance)."

    What's up with this?

Ads needs to be on all pages of your site or on a single directory or any number of subdomains is okay.

The ads are on every page at the very bottom. Check each link: the ads are there.

Ads would need to be on the main page.

There's an ad on the main page (index.html) and on every other page. Look at the bottom. There's one on every page.

I don't see them on the main page. Are you sure they are there? (I see them on the others).

But some of us can not see. If you have a neighbor you might try to view on his machine.

So often we design a page that looks great on our machine but does not work on others.

    HI Raider,

Well, I'm surprised, but you're right. As you can see by the screen shot, it's there (on at least one machine!).

Now here's the thing: all this is done server side. How can that make it only show up here and there (or at least here)? It's not an html issue, I don't think -- I haven't added any tags on the pages.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I had the same problem... I wa on IIS. you are on Apache. Have your hosting company clear out the cache Apache....

That is why you cannot see it on domain.com however you can see it on domain.com/index.htm

That is what I had to have them do anyway. Give that a try.

    Hope it helps.

    Hey Wayne,

I called the server guys and they were perplexed: the ad did appear one way but not the other. In fact, John (the tech support guy) couldn't figure it out. At first he thought Apache didn't have any cache to clear, but then he thought maybe it did. In any event, their admin people will check into in the morning.

I'm assuming that they'll work this out, so my thanks to everyone for all your help. If they don't fix it, I'll let you know.

    Thanks again!

    Michael

I just looked over your pages. I saw your screenshot. I am not convinced that your problem has anything to do with cache or buffering. I do not see your ads on either one of these pages
    www.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com/index.html

I read the posts previously and that is what it looked like you were talking about. I literally do not see ads on any of your pages at all??

I am afraid that I don't know what would be causing this. Are you using the passthru.php file with the mod-rewrite command in the .htaccess file?
