ads are not shown it is showing just public service ads?

i have placed adsense code below What's Going On? in my vb forum.
but it is just showing public service ads??

Have you put your adsense code recently? It might take some hours around 24-48 hours for google to start shooting the ads on your site!

Off topic - I saw in your extremtracking that you are using autosurf sites to drive traffic, Dont Do it! Google will ban you soon if you keep doing it!!

 

public ads are shown either when:
a) Google have no idea what your page is about
b) there is no ad inventory for the keyword/geo combination - for example if your page is in Turkish an i am visiting from US, there may be no ads for particular Turkish keyword for US visitors
