Adolescent Site, Requesting Suggestions

My website started in 2005, and has been sustaining itself for some time now. We're looking to increase our traffic and new user rate, but we're not sure where to go from here.

    What we're currently doing:
We have 10-15 new pages in the StumbleUpon queue per day.
We're in DMOZ, and Google indexes just over eight thousand pages of the site.
We've recently been added to a few hundred web directories.
We have a viral marketing contest, with a cash prize - which no one has picked up on, really.

That's it off the top of my head. But, what can we do to further increase traffic with minimal expense?

I think you can further extend your reach through joining myspace and other similar social networking sites, this comes at this moment to my head.

We've got a group on Facebook, Last.fm, MySpace, already. What are the marketing methods we should use on such places?

Yeah, we've already submitted to directories and the like. I'm considering doing a paid review in the future, most certainly. What are some free things that I can do?
