What's going to be new and exciting at AdobeMax for Coldfusion? Anyone know what is costs to attend AdobeMax this year?
At CFUnited, Adobe hinted around that there will be some big announcements around ColdFusion. I personally expect there to be some kind of announcement about an IDE. Registration info here: https://max.adobe.com/
For me personally, nothing - I love CFE. Coupled with all the other sweet stuff that plugs into Eclipse it is a perfect tool for the way that I develop. However, there are some squeaky wheels in the community that keep pushing for a more robust IDE from Adobe. We'll see...
I also like CFE but one thing I would love is to be able to double click a .cfc or .cfm and have it open rather then having to have the files in a project. I wonder if the new CF IDE will be like Flex Builder a cut down version of Eclipse or a stand alone product.
I'll be a MAX this year and hope they introduce an office IDE. CFE is nice, but I have had problems with Eclipse corrupting mid-project on me.
