Adobe trademark

I have a domain with "adobe" in it that I might be developing in the near future into a tutorials website.

Has anyone had any trouble with Adobe over trademark issues? I know of a big tutorial site, adobetutorialz.com, has been around a while and continues to crank out new tutorials almost daily. I emailed them a few weeks ago about it and never received a reply. Is it safe to go ahead and develop my domain and hope Adobe doesn't complain?

Not really sure about how Adobe handles this... but I have a 2 year old tutorial website that is using photoshop in its domain name and haven't run into any problems.

I had a domain, with the word "adobe" in it along with anther word, which I posted for sale on sedo, got some good traffic to the listing as well made some nice money. 3 days later after I posted, I got an C&D from an attorney, few e-mails back and forth, we reached an agreement. Seems the domain I registered after the drop, was forgotten and expired while it was owned by adobe. Did not have any problems with them, after I found out they were the past owners, so they made a small mistake. Just looked at it, and there is a well established site Powered by Adobe on it. So to tell you the truth not sure how they will respond to your domain, but in footer I would at least place not affiliated in any way with Adobe TM, etc...

I own AdobeTalk.com and sent them an email regarding the usage of the domain.

I received a semi cryptic pdf which implied the Adobe name cant be used to slander, profit or appear to be affiliated with AdobeTM.

Just be sensible with it, and keep in mind they can claim the name although its unlikely if used as a free resource etc.
