Adobe regular products versus Academic products

As I understood from adobe.com, only customers from Canada and the United States are eligible to make purchases from this store.

Secondly, I didn't found a paragraph where to be stated that these Academic products [legally] can't be used outside of the Academic institutions. >> eligibility F.A.Q.

    MY QUESTIONS:

1 - If I would buy from ebay.com an Academic Adobe software, I would violate any copyright law and/or using term/condition?
2 - Being outside of USA and Canada, what if I would use these softwares for commercial purposes? I wouldn't stole them, I would own them...

    Thank you!

Generally an academic license only entitles you to use the software for academic, or at the least, noncommercial uses. I don't see anything above that actually specifies the license.

If that is the case, then it's not legal or ethical to use for commercial purposes. It might be hard to track, especially if you don't go mentioning it everywhere, but still illegal.

By the way, which adobe software are you after? There may be another package which does the same or similar thing without the legal hassles.
