You really have to experiment with a software in order to know its ins and outs. At stay it may not seems as much, but taking small baby steps is definitely the way to learn photoshops. It's also a matter of interests, and how much time you put into learning a particular software.
Nice advice its good you speaks well and that was a good advice and a good motivation for every body and i like the Requirements u mention specially the 1st one Intreast to learn that is a simple line but it speaks a thousand lines If u are not Intrested u cant do it dosent metter gives hours and hours.
All who want to learn Photoshop or Illustrator or Corel Draw just do tutorials first months after that try to create your own desing with all that skills you've learned from tutorials.
you are right. all these sight can help you a lot but a good recognised course is necessary to become a good designer
These are very good tips. The OP is correct, it takes around 2 months at an hour per day to know most of Photoshop's features. From a 3 month 45 minute class (5x a week), I pretty much mastered the program.
