adobe help

    anybody know a way to like,make a picture, like, i mean
    frame a picture, but then on the sides, make it fade into like a white background?
    you know what i mean?

    there are many ways you could do it.

    the easiest way to do it, without the best result, would be to just get the eraser and set the opacity down and just erase the edges.

    other ways to do it would require a more in depth guide with pictures that you could follow along with

    If you know Photoshop a bit you can play with this and figure it out.

    create new layer>paint bucket white> marque tool select square or oval in center>right click over marque area select feather (more pixels bigger "faded" edge)> delete

    Draw a marque beside any one of the edge. With marque in selected condition, go to select>feather and set feather between 20 to 30 and click okey. The next step is to press the "delete" key on key board. Click repeatedly till you get the required fade so as to give the merge look with background. When done suspend the marque by pressing Ctrl+D.
