D-tails! what do you have under the hood of the PC??? If there one thing I know about PS....RAM is king
I have it...I also have 2G of ram and a 2.9Ghz dual core AMD processor...my system doesn't skip a beat with this running along with anything else...I would recommend at least 2G of ram to use this program...
Running a 2Gb of ram machine and CS2 is performing nicely. I have learned that upgrades at Adobe can be costly, that's what keeps me from buying every new CS when it comes out. I'm happy with the Elements, too. Don't see why I would care about immediate upgrades unless they introduce important features. So what's new about CS3?
i have 512 mb ram, a really slow pc so its horrid for me, looks clean sleek tho , wud definitely use it and the new features if my pc was better
check my link in this post: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2865984&postcount=16 Yeah, I'm surprised Windows runs ok for you with only 512...that would be a SLOW boat to Chine running PS with only that much!!
What I absolutely love about CS3 -- as a keen photographer -- is the black and white photography tool. Made much more handy.
you got that straight!!! that in and of itself is reason enough for me!! I never got the hang of the channel mixer
I have the CS3 beta on my laptop, my laptop isnt the best of specs, but it seems to work and run fine for me.
Checking for the latest updates for your computer... Nope, don't see the CS3 beta among available updates. So how do I get a chance to test it if I want to?
It's not just photoshop thats been cs3'ed. I have Dreamweaver CS3 and it's good. It doesn't butter my bread or make me look taller but it's def. a lot better at helping me make websites
I didn't like the look of GoLive, I had to download the trial one night, when DW messed up and I had work that needed finishing. I guess it's because i've always used DW though. I just couldn't get that Go-Live interface and ended up using Notepad Pro and Firefox to preview :s
There is no huge new addition really. Just some touches here and there. Adobe have included the Spry framework (AJAX) so you can instantly add quite a few nice AJAX features. They've added a bar under the very top bar, with a lot of handy stuff on, like paragraph formating, css etc.
Hey, I'm interested in buying your legal (i.e. non pirated) old copies of Photoshop CS2 (or CS or PS7) Check out this thread for more info: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=2885413#post2885413
