It is sad to hear such thing happen. We just have to remember to be careful of how we use the net.

The net is no more dangerous than any other kind of socialising, In fact, I would say it's the safest form of socialising. Of course we do need to do other socialising otherwise we become detached from reality. But as far as safety goes, I think the net is the safest.

 

Thatas really sad but I would say the use of internet makes it good or bad. One must be very careful doing all this stuff.

The net is safe, but bad things still happen, which is why we need to be careful.

And for the second article, I don't understand how Orkut is responsible for his murder. If the murderers hadn't have planned it over Orkut, it would have been another site, or even the phone. Blame the murderers, no one else is responsible for this.

That's really sad - but I still think the net is a safe way to socialize - as long as it stays on the net.

Once you decide to meet up with those people you think you know, anything can happen. Not saying not to meet up with anyone, but you should always be careful (meet in public place, don't go alone, etc).

And people always try to put the blame on everything except the people involved in cases like this. It's the movie's fault! It's that videogames fault! It's the websites fault!
