Some guy hired me to admin his forum. He told me to be present daily, etc. I'm on daily and posting. Now, he IMs me and asks what my plans for the forum are. I said I need to work on activity then I'll see from there. It's only been two days since he hired me and he tells me that his "team" is worried because they've seen nothing done. As if he expected me to make his forum an overnight success for one of my AdSense ads on his homepage. /vent
I will be the first to vent. I think he needs to relax, is it a big forum? Although it doesn't seem really annoying I mean you are admin now, but anyways do you mod forums, I may hire (or if you want to do it voluntary up to you) you, interested? It's for my developer site, no mods as of yet but needed for the 2k posts made this month.
I'm hiring someone for a custom design, at first I didn't realize the competition except for 1-2 dev sites, but then I saw quite a few like devguru, dreamincode, devcube, but they devguru is just an ordinary dev site, dreamincode is ok but its mostly forums and slow loading at that, and devcube is just a small forum. I think I will rule them out when I release my social networking community. But thanks for commenting, so I see your busy atm?
