Administration refuses to help protect Vets from identity theft

    26 million names, dob's and ssn's get stolen from an official, and the White House pledges $160 million to protect the veterans affected. Now they withdraw that pledge.

    According to another story I read on it, officials are fairly confident that nobody made copies... which means there is still a chance that they did. The data wouldn't have to be accessed from the laptop to be copied across a network.
