This address added me saying he is Shown Hogan owner of DP. Did not reply to him. I guess it is fake... Anyone have had this situation before? (was on msn)

Yep, Shawn frequently contact members and adds them to IM. He likes to chat with everyone to see where he can help etc.

Did it say "Address not verified" near the screen name?

Don't trust anyone on MSN - I can get any email address under fbi.gov ( and similar ones ) in a few seconds !
Regarding this case - if he's not asking you to pay for something, why to bother ?

It will be fake. Don't give any money, and just block him.

If it WAS Shawn, he would have PM'd you or something.

Plus, you dont' have your MSN listed at DP ;)

If it ends in (email address not verified) or anything similar, its blatantly fake.

Otherwise, odds are closer to it being legit.

I do not know who Shawn chooses to contact but it always pays to be cautions. Contacting menbers using unverified accounts is a ploy used to scam members/hijack accounts. If someone contacts you purporting to be a DP member, request they contact you via PM as stated above.
