adlogger is registering clicks and adsense isn't

    Adlogger is showing clicks, but adsense isn't counting them....
    I've had <10 clicks total, adlogger shows about 7, adsense only 2.
    Who else has this problem?

    Maybe your adsense stats haven't updated yet? If that isn't the case then the clicks must be invalid..

    No, this has gone on for the last couple of days.
    I find it hard to believe that over the past week I've gotten 5 clicks, and google decided that 100% of them were invalid. I use adlogger so no one can click an ad more than once....

    I can see 5% of the clicks to a site being invalid...... but 100%?

    maybe they`re invalid clicks
    can you see the ips or country of the clickers ?

    Maybe you have some wrongfully inserted (in the HTML) adlogger code ? (maybe twice)

    What is the "Ad Target URL"? If it is "Unknown" then Adsense won't register the click. That's what I've noticed at least.

    I'm going to relook over my adlogger code, just in case.
    I have gotten some "unknown" clicks....

    here's an example of one that adsense didn't count
    Visitor IP - 69.104.172.229
    Visitor Hostname - adsl-69-104-172-229.dsl.irvnca.pacbell.net
    Visitor Agent - Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1)
    Date/Time of click - 2006-07-05 19:56:00

    If the user right-clicks on the ads, Adlogger will register the click but not Adsense. The "unknown" clicks happen when the user is using non-IE browsers.

    also, if you have the Link unit ads, it dosnt handle them too well and registers non existant clicks - when i first installed it on a page with Link units, i thought i was going to be able to retire that week ;)

    check out the adlogger forums, lots of people report it the same
