Anyone else notice multiple clicks over the preset limit? 3174 2006-07-02 17:55:20 75.19.18.24X 3176 2006-07-02 17:55:39 75.19.18.24X 3177 2006-07-02 17:55:41 75.19.18.24X 3179 2006-07-02 17:55:51 75.19.18.24X 3183 2006-07-02 17:57:22 75.19.18.24X 3184 2006-07-02 17:57:23 75.19.18.24X 3185 2006-07-02 17:57:24 75.19.18.24X 3186 2006-07-02 17:57:25 75.19.18.24X I tried tracing the IP and it looks like a proxy, not a very good one but none the less... this is premeditated clicking! Disturbing, I never really look at my logger as I had thought that it blocked this type of thing....lucky I was able to nip it i the bud, I have been using Adlogger for about a week now...time to look for a more secure alternative. Does anyone use anything worth buying? I found a few, but ya can never take the testimonials as the truth..ever lol! Sometimes I don't know whos workin harder to sell me, the guy sellin it or those voice "testimonials" that they embed into the site haha... Anyway if anyone knows a worthy program that can handle 50,000+/day without slowin the site, kick down an give me the 411! 5
Well, what did you have your ratio set to? adlogger is only as good as you make it. You have to specify how many clicks per time period you want go with to get the best results - you can specify this in the config section. As for the above, it could have just been an interest viewer... though with my Adlogger settings, ads for them would have been disabled there after the 6th click.
Yeah, I'm aware of the feature, it was the only reason I bothered installing it infact. What I was asking is if anyone had , say set a 4 clicks/12 hour max and still found that users got around it. "An interest viewer", thats alot of interest when the last four clicks were done in a matter of 4 seconds....the average is 2 clicks per user at most from what I looked back on.
