Adlogger and proxies - Strange results

I am using adlogger in all my proxies. During a search i did today i noticed that there are many people and popular proxies that don't use it.

I am having a few proxies getting around 800UV/day and getting just a few clicks on the ads. I have a feeling that returning visitors are not seeing any ads and just using the proxies eating my bandwith :p

    Or that adlogger sucks :D

Yesterday in one of my small networks i had 3200 ad impressions and 96 clicks. While i had about 5000 UV according to my stats and so i would expect at least the double ad impressions than those i got.

So i was thinking of removing adlogger for sometime and watch if i have any increase in clicks and earnings. It's a bit of a gamble but i think i 'll do it.

I was thinking the same thing. I was going to just change my Adlogger settings to be a bit more flexible. I wouldn't want to be caught with my pants down with a proxy.

me too, I think it's because adlogger detects mouse over as a click, I just afraid of being clicked bombed and not know it.

Why would using adlogger cause adsense to close your account?

Please provide something in G's TOS that adlogger is breaking, before saying something like that.

I think you hust wanted to post your link. Haven't heard of anyone to get banned because of adlogger.

Anyway, back to our topic now. I just removed the adlogger code in some of my proxies and i am going to monitor how it goes. If i notice an increase in earnings then i could be right, although at the same time my chances of getting an e-mail from google are getting also higher

    I 'll keep you updated..

you have to be careful with the blocking settings in Adlogger because of how it over-counts clicks.. set it too low and you'll be blocking ads for no reason.. too high and you might as well not bother..
I use adlogger more for visibility of who's clicking than for blocking ads - even though i know it's over-reporting clicks i still feel nekid without it.

and no, using adlogger will not get you banned from Adsense.
