    Hi

    I'm running into a strange problem that perhaps one of you guys can help me with.

    After putting the javascript on my page and the php wraping code around my adsense, i went ahead and tested it out.

    What it appeared to be doing is that for every visitor that visited one of my pages it would count that as a HIT in adlogger admin and they would quickly reach the ad click limit and be blocked.

    So when I reloaded my pages a couple times - it tells me that I clicked a couple times. I tested this in firefox so I am really not sure whats happening but the javascript code seems to think that any hit to the page I have the code on = a click to adsense.

    Is it me or is anyone else getting this problem.:confused:

    @EvilGod yes you have to have you own space to host the adlogger. It's a must, and if you are serious about doing business on the internet you SHOULD have one anyway, its not very expensive to get a host (something around $5/month)

    @darkraven your problem sounds like the "hover bug". test it on your own, use FF and pass over one of the ads, Note your ip (whatismyip.com) and go to the adlogger to see if your IP has actually produced a click according to adlogger.

    I sorta fixed my problem earlier.

    This is a great script especially being free but theres still some bugs like I noticed that not all clicks are being counted when I tested it myself. Overall its pretty cool :)

    yes, it requires only one .js included in your web page, and some google analytics configuration, everything is told in that page

    I have been using the js that Darix has mentioned in conjuction with adlogger I am in the evaluation period myself.

    Neither one is handling Mozilla browsers correctly (due to a Mozilla bug or security restriction rather - some say that the bug is with IE letting outside scripts attach events on iframe content while mozilla correctly does not allow)

    Other than that neither one is recording all the clicks but also adlogger sometimes records clicks that have not happen (it fires the click event on mouseover)

    About adlogger you can see the "All Clicks" page it should be updated automatically (the main page of adlogger does not update by itself - hit the update link)

    The channels are not required for it to work but a database IS REQUIRED
    follow the instructions here for all the details on setting up a database

    What happens once someone clicks and I do not want them to click again? Do they just see a blank area where adsense would normall be displayed, or can I select some sort of default text/image to be displayed?

    the file that you call from your pages is
    adlogger/track/adlogger_tracker.php
    this is actually just a javascript file inside a .php page

    just rename it as .js

    and call it like this

    <!-- Start AdLogger Tracking Code -->
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    var adlogger_loc = "http://example.com/adlogger";
    var channel_id = "1";
    //--></script>
    <script src="http://example.com/adlogger/track/adlogger_tracker.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <!-- End AdLogger Tracking Code -->

    Code (markup):
    I think it would work

    Hi All,
    Looking for opinions on if the upgrade from 1.23 to 1.4 is worth it.
    From what I can tell, I need a clean db and will have to change the wrappers (uggh).
    Are you able to do any real referral / keyword tracking?

    Also has anyone used and liked the program mentioned below?

    Thanks!
    Morty
