I've read a lot of posts where people are getting good results from placing Adsense at the bottom of a long page of content. Does anyone have any experience with this? And do you think the wide leaderboard or the horizontal adlinks are more effective for that purpose? Of course, I'll be testing and tweaking everything once I get it set up, but I was curious what everyone else's experiences were before I get started.
I have found it works surprisingly well - though not as good as being on top! Overall about 50% of the revenue as top ads. Adlinks which I currently have on top, just under the leaderboard (wide), are about the same as the bottom ads despite their smaller size, which I attribute to their relevance on pages that don't otherwise get good keywords.
