    Links don't work,
Only redirect back to your site.

Yes, the links work. If your links stopped working, it might because you were banned for breaking the Terms and Conditions.

I used Adfoc.Us as an Url Shortener on one of my sites today as a test and here is my review
and opinion of how it turned out.

I sent out a Tweet And Email to all of my registered users with a link shortened with Adfoc.Us.

It was something they needed and in just under a 2 hour period over 1,000 people clicked the link.

The Adfoc.Us system handled the sudden traffic spike just fine.

    No Problems At All !

I did this same sort of test a few months back with a company call Link*oller.Com and
its systems buckled under the pressure and went down.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't trying to take Adfoc.Us down; I was just giving it a
real world test to see if it was worth it to move some of my business from Adf.ly
and Ity.Im over to Adfoc.Us and so far - IT IS.

    Here are some numbers:

Number Of Short Urls Clicked By My Users: 1,023
    Amount Of Revenue Made: $1.9976

So as you can see I didn't get the high OR 'as' high a CPM as some of you may have
expected or may have read on their site BUT you have to take into account this next fact.

Many of the people who clicked my Short Url links today weren't doing so from the USA, Canada or UK
so it is expected that the total Averaged CPM rate earned per click to be lower than the advertised rate
    on the Adfoc.Us site.

How does Adfoc.Us's averaged out rates stack up to the other Url Shorteners I'm using - EXCELLENT actually.

Here is the breakdown from today:

Adfoc.Us's Average CPM Rates For Me Today: $1.95 Per 1,000

Ity.Im's Average CPM Rates For Me Today: $1.67 Per 1,000

Adf.ly's Average CPM Rates For Me Today: $1.27 Per 1,000

Please don't for one second think that Ity.Im Or Adf.ly are in any way inferior; they aren't !

After Link*oller.Com's service went down hill I turned to both Ity.Im and Adf.ly and started using them
to shorten all the links I publish on my network of sites and they both have been great and the rates for
both have always been very close to one another so don't think that overall Ity.Im is better that Adf.ly
    or Vice Versa.

Ity.Im was just a bit better than Adf.ly on the day of this test - BUT - today clearly Adfoc.Us was the WINNER !

Tomorrow could be a different story and all of you need to judge for yourself.

Depending on the country of origin where your sites main traffic comes from maybe your results will be quite different.

Okay. So Let's Get Back To Adfoc.Us Shall We And What I Think Of Them So Far.

--> Way to go Adfoc.Us ! <-- So far you are off to a good start !

I highly advise anyone reading this to sign up and give them a try as I did.

Adfoc.Us; I'll keep using your Url Shortening service as long as:

    you pay people as promised,

you pay on time or at least close to on time,

you don't under count our traffic,

your network stays dependable with limited downtime and technical probs,

And this is the biggest one SO PLEASE TAKE NOTE of this next one:

You don't start serving us malware; popups or pop unders; traffic stealing REDIRECTS <--- I Hate Redirects,

And never ending hidden Iframe code that loads Dozens Upon Dozens of sites in the background adding to the
browser load time and bogging down our users computers with constantly loading hidden garbage sites !

If you start to Suck I/We will all jump ship and run away from you as fast as possible.

Oh Yea - Here is one I'll toss in for good measure. --> Don't Start Cancelling People For No Or Stupid Reasons.

Sometimes a warning email is all that is needed to get a user back in line - Sometimes people don't realize that
something they are doing was incorrect. Some people's first language isn't English and have just misunderstood the rules.

Don't be another Google killing people's accounts for vague or stupid reasons. That will get you a bad reputation.

Okay That's All I Have To Say For Today.

Good Luck Everyone And Have A Happy Life.

    ClickMaker is my name.

Providing Great Web Content Is My Game.

    Peace :)

We employ several system administrators to ensure our servers will have minimal downtime and can handle ANY traffic load. We are currently experiencing HUGE growth and our servers are doing just fine. Optimizing and secure systems are very important to us!

This is due to the fact that most of our competitors are not optimizing their servers properly. I guarantee that our service will ALWAYS have faster latency than Ity.im, AdF.ly, Linkbucks, or any other competitor. We pay for the best servers and bandwidth providers available :)

I was hoping someone would post a case study comparison of the different services. This is VERY important to us. Thanks a lot for writing up all this information!

Our goal for AdFoc.us is to always be the winner and pay the highest CPMs out of any other paid link shortener. So far, we are exceeding our expectations by A LOT and our advertisers are LOVING the traffic. Case in point, our CPMs are going to stay stable and overall remain very high.

This is absolutely true. We automatically calculate the value of each visitor based on the *current* payout rates at the time and based on our advanced click fraud algorithm. Seems to be working out pretty well so far :)

I agree with you on all of your points. You seem to really know a lot about the paid short URL market :) It is very important to us that advertiser pages are clean, non-fraudulent, non-annoying, and are not malicious to our visitors in any way. This same goes for our users and short URLs, we have a very strict policy (can be found in our Terms and Conditions) and will warn users when they are violating our rules. If a user keeps breaking the rules, their account will be banned.

We are very flexible. If you have been banned but feel like you should not have been, feel free to send us an email or post in our forums :D

ClickMaker, thanks so much for the in-depth writeup! It really means a lot for a new company trying to get it's feet off the ground.

Our first payments are going out this week (for users > $5.00 earnings) so I hope some members will start posting screenshots once payments are made.

I find it surprising to see a someone with 4 posts coming & posting such a long review... Its like they joined only to make this post...

Anyway, none of my business. However how do you join Adfoc.us as an advertiser?

He was registered in Sept 2010 and his writing style is obviously different than mine. I was just as surprised as you to see such an in-depth and lengthy review. :p

At this time, our advertising platform is not available to the public. I'll be sure to update everyone when it is made public :)

    Hi Everyone,

Our site has been down for almost 12 hours due to the Amazon datacenter downtime.

You can find our official announcement at our forums:

    http://adfocus.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=announcements&action=display&thread=13

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this :(

Hopefully Amazon will compensate us for our downtime. If we are compensated, we will be passing on lost earnings to our users :)

    Stay tuned for more information.

In the meantime, you can find Amazon server status here:
    http://status.aws.amazon.com/

We are very sorry for this inconvenience. We are as annoyed at Amazon as our users should be.
