adengage or adtoll

I was hoping to get the opinion of people that have used both services before. I'm looking to place either adengage or adtoll on my www.firecow.com site but I'm not sure if one would have an advantage over the over. I've never used either of these two services before.

    Thanks

It is usually difficult to generalize and say which ad program would work well for all sites. I would personally recommend to try both programs for 1 week each (including the weekends) and then compare your traffic and revenue stats from each program, and then decide which one to continue with. In most cases, if you have a high traffic site, the ad vendor would like to work with you and serve better paying programs, that go with the niche of your website.

Yeah I agree. Either try them for a short period one at a time or at the same time and then compare your stats and earnings. I currently use both for my arcades and like AdToll a little more recently.

Being the founder of AdToll of course I am always going to recommend us but to be honest you should try both, see what you like better. We do have different features to Adengage such as the ability to have banner ads, not just text ads.

We have a lot more features on the way as well.

If you do have any questions please ask!

I'd go for AdEngage purely based on that they are established and have been for a whole lot longer than AdToll has. I'm not suggesting that AdToll is untrustworthy, but more so that AdEngage would have a much larger user/advertiser base. That being said, definitely try out both and see which performs better for you.

    All the best. :)

Just use AdToll for a week and AdEngage for another then compare the results. However, I noticed that AdEngage RON earn me only $0.004 per click. That's quite lower than what I actually expect.

I understand the need to compare and split test but you need to think long term as well. Not only that your success with Adengage or AdToll will depend largely on your ability to SELL ADS on your site. These two networks are not primarily setup to make you big dollars simply with network ads, you need to SELL ads on your site! That's where the real money is.

The more effective you can be at that then the more you will prosper.

So I am. However, what about placing both of them (AdEngine & AdToll) on a same page? I dont know if AdToll allow it or not but AdEngine does allow it. That placing both of them on a same page will give you better comparison. What do you think?

We allow Ad Groups to be place on the same page as other network ads. Exclusivity requirements are anti competitive IMO and should not be allowed.

Can you please provide some information that supports why one is better than the other? Saying you think one is better doesn't tell us anything of any value. Is the payout higher? Is the support better? Are they easy to use? What makes it better?

I am not satisy with adengage.

This company has the power of picture advertising but 0,009 $ is very dissapointing.

The customer service is very poor too, i am waiting for an answer for over 2 weeks and not answer yet.

How does Adtoll work? It appears to be similiar to adbrite in the fact you have to get advertisers to directly advertise on your website?

Does Adtoll have "network" ads? (in the case you have no direct advertiser)
