Hallo I have a blog where i translated songs from spanish to english. Each post is a new song. Therefore, adds displayed in my blog do not make much sense because they are related to the content of the song, wich has nothing to do with the content i would like to advertise in the blog, that is: translators, interpretes, language courses, travel agencies, turism, investments, etc. Is there any way i could predefine the content of the adds displayed in the blog? Many thanks in advance for the answers!
if you want to make the adds to show what you want with your site. there is only one thing you should do.you should make sure your site's Keyword Density about the content you want to show by the adds. that was mean your adds and the web site's content are related.
You are not allowed to feed Adsense keywords to try to get specific types of ads to appear. Unfortunately it sounds like Adsense just doesn't work well on your site. Why not place affiliate ads that you pick and choose instead?
I have the same problem on some pages, I just get totally irrelevant ads. You may not be able to feed Adsense keywords but you can chop out parts of your site you don't want the adsense bot to traverse with their tags - <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->Content<!-- google_ad_section_end --> . I've had to put this around any mention of "quotes" to keep totally irrelevant insurance ads off my site. I have a running battle with this kind of stuff as one of my sites is very graphics heavy and there really isn't much text to get hints from. You might need a blurb at the top of each of your pages saying how your site is "X song translated from Spanish to English", and/or use the word "translation" in the page title so it is more obvious to the adsense bot what it actually is about. You can put meta keywords in too, which helps prod Adsense into putting up passably related adverts. As long as the keywords are genuinely relevant to your site and are just there for hinting purposes and you're not faking it for high-pay adverts you should be fine.
