I have a domain http://gfmotors.co.uk which I no longer use. However, because the package that I bought with virtual servers allows 3 add-on domains I have created http://gentlefoot.com (amongst others) My problem is this. I have just created a site map for gentlefoot.com. I have placed it in the subdomain folder (which is actually an add-on domain) but when I look at the visitors log the googlebot is going to pages that are gfmotors.co.uk instead of gentlefoot.com and consequently just getting "404 page cannot be displayed". This is even though the urls specified in the site map are gentlefoot.com/LFS/index.php, gentlefoot.com/LFS.trackguides.html etc etc. Does this mean I now have to buy another hosting package completely separate from gfmotors.co.uk? If this is the case then what is the point of add-on domains if you cannot optimize them?
