Additional points for Link Building after Google’s Panda up gradation!

    After Google’s Panda up-gradation we are seeing so many changes on Google search result.Google Panda algorithm making lots of changes from the date of its origination.So many world class website’s demoted by Google Panda and its most highlighted story on today’s search world.Google changed its policy , and we need to change our back linking method according to Panda algorithm.

    After Google Panda up-gradation, I have noticed few things which mainly effects negatively to the website’s and few things which affecting website’s positively.Few considerable points are highlighted on post panda link building policy which are:

    • When you are placing link to any website/web page you should check the content of the website, to verify that any duplicate content is used on the page or not. Duplicate content issue is major part of Panda algo. Dupe content links will impact negatively your ranking .Unique content is a major criteria for Google Panda algorithm besides PageRank and Domain authority.
    • Do not acquire links from duplicate article marketing strategy.Links from same article which distributed on several article directories,could be reason of Google penalty.
    • Active Social engagement links are well accepted on Google ranking.If your links coming from a highly Facebook shared,Tweet’s other social network engaged webpage/website’s then it’s a positive signal.The more social engagement , make your website authoritative to the Google eye.
    • High PageRank links does better than any other linking policy,but be careful about stable PR of the linking website and try to observe the linking page PR value,if it shows any massive drop then withdraw your link from that page, the reason is to ignore unnecessary penalty for bad neighborhood links.

    Day by day Google improve the Panda algorithm and make the changes we will find more linking criteria to get right optimization direction.So it’s a ongoing process and need more study and practical experimentation to introduce right link building strategy for a particular website according to Google latest algorithm “Panda”

    On your first point 'When you are placing link to any website/web page' do you mean you should check that that the content from the source (ie where the link is coming from) doesn't replicate what it's being linked to?

    Yes..that means, the backlink/linking page should have unique content....hope that makes sense

    Really??? If that's true, then a good strategy would be to blast a bunch of duplicate articles out to the directories, each with a link back to your competitor's site. That way your competitor would be penalized by Google, making it easier for your website to rank better! :rolleyes:

    Awesome!!! I think you could use this strategy on your competitors as well! Just put several links on "bad neighborhood" sites, pointing to your competitor. They will get a "penalty" which would drop their rankings, once again making it easier for your website to rank better in the SERPs. :rolleyes:
