back to business after the PR update I have a mature site (5 yrs) that has 40k pages indexed in google I have many #1 rankings and inbound .gov links etc Now, I have an espotting feed which I link to but currently bar google from indexing it via robots.txt Yahoo lapped it up and I am getting excellent rankings and clickthrus Now, last Dec I got blasted by google into MIA land I am thinking I want to let google at this feed but am worried -- it'll probably add 20k pages I think (mind you Y! has 159k pages and MSN 5k ??) Advice ??
Any way of customizing the feed like adding content, shifting some paragraphs around or breaking up large pages into smaller chunks?
yeah - I can do whatever I want based on the KWs of each page it' a template so I can say stuff like: here's a directory of KW KW stuff that will help you with your search for KW KW If you want other links to KW KW blah blah blah it's the volume that scares me as well as adding tons of outbound links to espotting
Can you implement a drip-feed release. I mean slowing the publication of the feed. Perhaps 5 pages a day or so. That way you can monitor progress and adjust tactics accordingly.
