Adding the Alexa widget to your site

    Quick question.

    1. Does installing the Alexa traffice widget on your site give you a backlink?

    2. Is this widget beneficial in any other way other than show your stats?

    3. If your blog is just a page on your site do you install the widget on the homepage or on your blog?

    Hi,

    It gives you the information about your site's traffic rank.
    There is no other use of it.
    So, I think it it worth to put alexa widgets on site.

    I agree will all of the above views. Alexa is a general traffic and site tracking tool and nothing else.

    I doubt that the backlink could have been because of the widget.
