Seen a few sites like this, I think you need to have utf=8 charset defined on a page - try and add this coffee symbol in your title tag: ♨ Anyone else know about adding symbols and any SEO probs?
I prefixed all my titles on one site, with a hand and index finger pointing towards the title. It makes it stand out in the SERPs. Don't have scientific data on the results but it does stand out a lot, especially in MSN so I can only assume it helps pull in traffic. SE's don't seem to mind at all.
Yep I'm wondering that also. Is it to do with Wing-dings which is a font installed on everyone's computer? I only thought those font's were used in crappy Powerpoint Presentations, so I guess now it's migrated to the web! Hmm, perhaps symbols are the way to go then!
<title>☞ Amazing Site!!! </title> Code (markup): ampersand#9758semi-colon Doesn't show in FireFox top blue bar but does show in tabs. Most importantly, shows in SERPs... ...Strange, trying to find an example of a results page but seems like MSN has now stopped showing them... And Google! Looks like what used to work has stopped working...
