Adding RSS to Articles Posted at Your Site - Good or Bad

    Hi,
I just learned that posting articles of others at your site via auto generating software or manually is not a god idea. I know some Gurus say to put your own content at the beginning and end of these articles to make them original for search engines.

But, Google, Yahoo and MSN are smart and I guess they will catch on to this and penalize sites eventually, especially for adsense ads on those pages.

My question is : I bought Adsense Gold not too long ago and one of the tools that comes with it is an RSS feed - you put the article html in the feed and enter a keyword and it generates the same article, but with a list of RSS links at the bottom of it. Here is one page at one of my sites to show you what I mean:

    http://www.weight-loss-discovery.com/hoodia-gordonii-review.html

Tough question : The originator says that the search engines will regard this page as original now and will not penalize it, since it has all of those links to other sites and descriptions etc. at the end. Is this true or not ? I need to know, because I will not use it at all if it will hurt me.

    Your opinions are appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hope that I have understand your question completely

I think you are worried about duplicated sites, right? As far as i know, sharing data / content is a good thing, therefore, its ok to have duplicated content but not duplicated sites..

It is perfectly fine to syndicate others' news in your site.

Are you surrounding potentially duplicate content with RSS fields on the side? Are these pages getting into Goggle's supplmental index?
