Adding posts and SERP

    My site is on WP and is optimized for a keyword. My home page is static. What if I add more posts to my site? Of course my current post will go to another page. Will it effect my SERP?

    There is no definite answer to this question.

    I'd say if your new posts are relevant and optimized for the same keyword you target, it will not affect your search engine ranking that much.

    If you want to keep your current post static, may it so in the settings. To do so, make the content of that post a 'page'. Then go to your settings and make that page static. Create a page called 'blog'. Make your pasts go to blog.

    Thanks. My site is on WP. I've optimized my homepage and have given backlinks for the same as well. You know that if I add more posts, they add to my homepage. If I make the first post staic, others show below the first one. Can I change some setting and add more posts to a different page other than home page?
