I want to run a strip down the side of my blog to feture pics for readers to click. Has anyone seen a site with a similar look that I can look at the source. Thanks.
I can't pick one out of the air at the moment although I'm sure there are a few -- it shouldn't be at all difficult though: - add an additional column to the tables in your template - add in the images or thumbnails - create a link around each image to take the visitor to the original size image or an order page
The Adventures of Accordion Guy in the 21st Century Are you talking about the blog in your signature? I have some images that are used as links at my 'blogger.com' http://factor1.net/bullogs/. I think there are other templates for blogger? I haven't looked for so long. If you know CSS, here is an excellent way to add a row of images http://css.maxdesign.com.au/floatutorial/tutorial0301.htm. You can put then in the main column and they will stay to the right. I also think putting another column in with tables would work really well. Do you know how to generate thumnails? You could get real fancy and have php generate thumbnails on the fly from your regular images, or if you are like me, I use a graphics app to make smaller sizes of all my pics and link to them with the thumbnail. On top of that, there are a few ways to display larger images, if that is what you want. In popups, or in new pages, or in a complete 'album' page. If you want them regulariliy positioned, you need tables or proper formatting in the CSS. I just let my images line up by how big they are. I am looking and displaying images now for about a month, for a new site. Any questions or help, just ask. Here are a couple of interesting displayings of images: robotjohnny dirtyolive --------------------------------------- You see, I was a Leeds United fan, and still am, but the Gunners are my top club to support now, and I will ignore the result for Chelsea as an aberration. They are scary as hell, though. (I don't see much soccer/football, but I will get a tv again so I can watch Premiership, and Europe matches, up to about 4 or 5 games a week here in Canada.)
