I am adding pages for Google Optimization and my question is. When I write an article that say I tweaked from one of my pages and submitted to an article directory, is it best for me to point the URL in the article to the URL where I tweaked from? FOr instance, my site is about animals and I have a cats page, so I write an article on cats. Is it better to attach my URL in the article as animals.com/cats or just animals.com? What would be the pros and cons of each? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you already have backlinks for your homepage, then you can add backlinks to other pages when submitting articles to article directories. Otherwise, first build some backlinks for homepage then go for the internal pages.
I think you question is that when you add a page should you be adding the keyword on the URL. Yes, is the answer. It helps a great deal to get rankings on Google.
You should use anchor text and associate this text to url of that particular page. in author biography put url of site.
First, pay attention to the home page. Second, you can increase the PR of your subpages. Your web site needs to have back links on subpages too. It looks more natural.
