I'm testing out a service that provides Windows Virtual Private Server with Windows 2003. It has WordPad and NotePad, but I need Microsoft Word loaded on the server. I have Microsoft Office Word 2003 on my desktop running Windows XP. My questions: Do I need Microsoft Office Word 2003 to run on the Windows 2003 server? Or will any version 2003 or newer do it? Does Microsoft sell only the latest version of Microsoft Word? Is it possible to copy my desktop MS Word 2003 to the server for testing? If so, how? Or would that be a location issue? thanks.
