Adding more niches to the same blog...?

My Question is can I add another one or two niches to the blog which is irrelevant to the niches. For example, I have free games and software blog but I wish to write about credit cards and forex niche in the same blog. Can I do that? If no why? and if yes then what will be its impact on SERPs?

 

May be you can do it by adding more categories? I guess you will get more traffic as you will be adding more content.

 

its better to have another blog altogether if u want to touch new areas,,as ur original traffic would run away else..
