Adding more languages to my site is it worth it?

Is it worth adding more languages to my website, I was thinking it would increase page count in a very big way and also it will help people that speak a different language as I get lots of traffic from other countries already.

If it is a good idea what languages would you recommend?

Sure why not, it just depends on the goal of your website, how you monetize it and what worth to you these pages will bring.

As for what language, i'd firstly do the native language of whatever country is the highest in your stats and work your way down the list.

Yeah, just do it. It's not going to be duplicate content, it's going to be your content translated, after all one of the popular the translators is Googles.
They are crafty, but I'm sure they wouldn't offer the tech, just to penalize you.

You get more pages indexed, and you open your site up to more readers.
What's this thing about page views? Does the translator show extra page views on the stats?

Anyway, I get quite a few hits on the translated pages, so I think it's worth it, but global entertainment is my market anyway.

Nope, Google matches keywords and keyphrases in a document to return relevant results. So...

    Hello how are you

Isn't the same keywords or phrase as:

    Bonjour comment allez vous

Even though they mean exactly the same thing.

yeah sure it's good idea. it will give you 2 advantages.
    1.more indexed page numbers.
2.serve the right target customer with their language.
and addition might even good for selling links for specific target markets/sites

I'll tell you from experience that there is nothing like looking at your referring links, and seeing a bunch of translated articles or posts, that people have clicked to visit your site.
Also, mypages were indexed very quickly in Google.

I think it is a good move. Adding more contents in different languages can get you more traffic naturally.
